Review of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) by Brian K — 01 Aug 2012

Having seen this film about 3 or 4 times now, the story never gets old. At its core, it is really a very simple story yet one that is also quite powerful and really rather emotional; the fact that it's a cartoon doesn't detract from that at all.

A lot about this film will win you over with its charm and simplicity about the bond between humans and animals; it will let you appreciate, albeit in animated form, how majestic, powerful, and free horses are as creatures.
