Review of Spinning Man (2018) by Gary W — 13 Apr 2018
This psychological thriller is chock full of errors and badly constructed scenes. Guy Pearce as the professor and Pierce Brosnan as the investigative detective seem miscast and distracted. Minnie Driver puts in a good day's work as the long suffering wife.
The story winds around for a while and never builds any tension or interest.
I preferred Brosnan in The Foreigner and Pearce never sell the Professor of Philosophy shtick.
Eminently forgettable and even Odeya Rush's astounding beauty can't save this.
