Review of Spies Like Us (1985) by Curtis H — 25 Jan 2009
A silly, but not altogether uncharming comedy that features the classic comedic styles of two of the 70s greatest film comedians. Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase team together as spies that don't know that they're decoys.
The plot is borderline stupid, and the comedy is never laugh out funny, but the talents of the leading men, combined with some classic moments make for an enjoyable movie. This pleasant homage to the "Road To" movies makes for an agreeable viewing experience, but nothing more.
