Review of Spies Like Us (1985) by Danielle S — 06 Jun 2008
Emmett Fitz-Hume: [catches a live grenade] "Hey! What's this?
Austin Millbarge: You don't want it!".
Emmett Fitz-Hume: [stands up and casually throws the grenade back].
Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd star in John Landis' lighthearted 1985 espionage comedy, about two CIA rejects who are used as decoys on a mission to locate a secret missile base in Russia. Although the stars were nearing the end of the popularity phase of the their careers, they still exhibit a reasonable amount of comic energy which, combined with the spy spoof gags, makes for an amusing program.
