How could a movie directed by John Landis featuring Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase be so unbelievably unfunny? Well, the comedic timing was off at various points, which can mostly be attributed to poor writing.
Many of the segments in Spies Like Us seemed as though they were only included in order to garner cheap laughs. In general, they entire movie seems like one giant cheap laugh. I don't think John Landis, Dan Aykroyd, and Chevy Chase have ever been more disappointing.
