Review of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) by Arthurcnog — 22 Dec 2021
When you take out all the fan service, what you find beneath is a poor acted movie composed of many separate ideas that struggle to get together. Albeit this, the movie has it's positives like bringing to the MCU's Spider Man the conflicts which the comics' Spider Man faced.
This deeper emotional aspect helps to fill the void left by the movie's lack of quality acting. Exception is Willem Dafoe's acting, which clearly stands out as a better one. Tobey Maguire just seems completely out of it while Andrew Garfield tries to bring the Amazing Spider Man back.
With exception of the Green Goblin and Doc Oc, the other villains just look like fillers, also Doctor Strange feels completely out of character again as he is the main culprit ot the movie's plot.
