Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Birdman3 — 26 Dec 2018
The movie has a distinct visual style, which I thoroughly loved for the entire film. There was also an excellent music soundtrack that accompanied every scene of the movie, and I appreciated the hip hop influences on the music and the characters.
The story was fun, although I thought that some of the characters were a bit superfluous. It also followed many of the superhero origin tropes, which I wasn't expecting based on some of the reviews calling this "like nothing you've seen before".
Overall, very enjoyable and I look forward to a sequel.
