When I saw the teaser trailer I thought "oh great, another animated show." Then I learned that it was a movie and thought "FINALLY! Miles Morales in my favorite story line on the big screen.
But still not a movie theatre movie." I saw the first trailer and got super hyped because it looked awesome. I really wanted to go but thought I probably wouldn't have time. I then had the chance to see it and did.
IT WAS AMAZING. It blew past my expectations redefining what a good Marvel and Spider Man movie could be. It was sad but happy, funny but serious, and the storytelling was great. It hits on all points perfectly and Miles's character development is smooth and also perfect.
The twists are unexpected and ending hits on everything emotional, funny, action packed, and overall satisfying. This is by far the best movie of the year.
