Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Andrew P — 29 Dec 2018

This cracked my top 5 films of the year and I definitely consider it my favorite Spiderman film, followed by Homecoming and then Raimi's Spiderman 2. Not only was the animation both unique and completely tone-appropriate, but the plot and character development was also completely superb.

You would think that a film about multiple Spider-people from multiple universes would get convoluted, but the movie manages to, in a very comic book fashion mind you, introduce each Spider-person in a consistent yet amusing and funny way that brings a certain cohesiveness to the movie.
