Into the Spider-verse has many good qualities- likable characters, and pretty good animation. (Save for Kingpin who is MUCH too large. His head looks tiny compared to his body!).
However, it feels a bit bloated in many ways. Miles Morales is an awesome character, however this feels like if we started the MCU with an Avengers movie- good, and awesome, but also a bit confusing. Too many characters when really we would have been alright with just focusing only on Morales' story.
Ultimately, if you enjoy the Spider-verse concept, you will like his movie. But if your like me, you may end up a bit lost in this tangled web of Spider-men (and women!).
