One of, if not the Best Spider-Man movie ever made. And not only that...one of the most amazingly animated movies out there. It is a film a whole slew of cinema fans will be able to dissect, though ultimately enjoy.

Its timeless and at the same time very much emblematic of our time, culturally and taste wise in our multi-media.

This at first seemed to be a Pascal decision, to really dry this deal out and milk it for what its worth. Pessimism proven properly wrong.

THANK THE LORDS it is treated as a cinematic piece, an extension of the films, comics, graphic novels, video games and cartoons through the years- rather than anything youâ(TM)d anticipate considering who green lit it and the fact we already have an âOh heâ(TM)s fineâ?- Spider-Man in the MCU and currently out there in pop culture and cinema. This film has a post-modern edge whilst ratcheting up the bonkers world and content. But its realky weighted by its soul and heart. It doesnâ(TM)t feel like a re-tread we have felt the past 11 years since Spider-Man 3.

Its an injection of fresh ways to tell a story.

You think the re-repeat of a Spider-Mans origin induces, we get Five here. All so hilariously told and never thematically or stylistically breaking the overall aesthetic and wholly unique thumbprint.

Aside from Raimiâ(TM)s (not so much part 3, which gets a great rinse in this film) Spider-Man as a live action experience has been lack-lustre; whereas this film proves to me Spider-Mans future is safe in these creatives/writers/directors hands and kept as an animated movie series.

There is so much room to play, invent, push for laughs and not be tied down by any form of MCU concrete continuity.

I have a deep feeling, considering this film was championed by Amy Pascal, that it was down to her, that and Avi Aradâ(TM)s experience in the cartoon world and his passion for that medium that saw this abled to be such a strong evocative film experience.

Really supporting Bob Persichetti,.

Peter Ramsey, Phil Lord and.

Rodney Rothmanâ(TM)s vision.

Its such a joyous impactful emotional ride pushed by the visuals and Daniel Pembertonâ(TM)s mesmeric up-lifting, energetic- emotionally driven score.

A unique inventive heart-felt hilarious action-packed visual surrealist commercially relevant driven carefully and passionately crafted piece of cinema.

The voice-cast bring Peter Parker in his many variations to life.

Specifically, Jake Johnson giving us an aged, portly and disenfranchised, and suicidal Parker. Melancholy, yet really easing into that role-model rol for Miles, the rest of the team taking up little of the slack all focuses on their own goals.

Really giving us a funny, self referential, sardonic version weâ(TM)ve yet to ever experience.

And the rest of his multiple guises and variants are perfectly cast, especially a, on top form gung ho- vocal performance from Nicolas Cage as Spider-Noir, excelling in the role abd freedom voice work obviously offers him as a creative.

Shameik Moore brings Miles Morales beautifully to life. This is also the greatest Wilson Fisk on screen alongside what we have from Vincent D'Onofrioâ(TM)s version in Netflixâ(TM)s Daredevil series; here voiced by a enthusiastic Liev Schreiber, obviously relishing the freedom voice work offers actors of his and Cages ilk.

Please see it! And experience the greatest superhero film in the past decade.

My favourite film of the year. Hands down. I utterly adore it.
