The first movie, other than Scott Pilgrim vs the World, to truly bring a comic book to life. One of the best animated films I've ever seen, which took advantage of its medium rather than shy away from it.
One of the best kids movies made in recent memory, one which doesn't belittle or underestimate its audience. You could watch it with no sound and still enjoy it purely from the visuals. You could also listen to it like a radio play and be transported by the narrative.
Really an excellent movie that everyone capable of feeling joy should watch.
