Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Jack S — 17 Dec 2018
The magnificent style of the movie gives homage to the comic books which inspired it. The array of characters is starkly diverse and diverges from the old Spider-Man story while still consciously making fun of it.
Again, as in Spider-Man Homecoming, the main character is relatable to all teenagers and accurately represents what it is like to juggle too many things in oneï¿ 1/2(TM)s life. I have already seen this movie twice and plan to go back again.
It pulls at the heartstrings while adding a perfect amount of levity. This is absolutely not just a kids movie.
