Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Asa G — 15 Dec 2018
Where other filmmakers have tried and failed in comic book store animation - this film success in a massive way.
There's a little bit off 'cheese' factor in some of the characters, but it's reduced a little with well placed comedy.
In the age of sjw adaptations this film also handles making a film to be a good film rather than being so hamhanded and forced your eyes hurt from rolling so much. I'm looking at you Last Jedi. So only minimal cringe in that department.
The 'faults' are easy to ignore with the fantastic animation, dialogue, and soundtrack. Was captivating from beginning to end (stay for end credits) and has become one of favorite movies of 2018.
