Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Dan B — 16 Dec 2018

There's a ton of hype buzzing around about this movie, which can often times leave a viewer disappointed, but this movie has earned the hype. Even though this is an animated movie, somehow the characters seem more realistic and tangible (excluding characters like spider-pig) than most.

There's plenty to love about this film. It's adventurous, extremely funny, and also emotional in all the right ways. While staying true to the original comic book characters, this flick adds it's own original flavor, giving both comic fans and the unfamiliar an exciting new tale for people of all ages to enjoy.

This movie easily lands in my top 10 for best movies of 2018.
