Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Jeremy S — 14 Dec 2018

Pros: Solid story. Great mix of action, comedy, and emotion. Probably my favorite take(s) on Peter Parker. Characters are totally believable. Really liked the main villain's motivations (although I prefer his Netflix version). The animation is some of the best I've seen.

Cons: I would have liked to spend more time with some of the secondary villains and "Spider-people".

Overall: This is a great movie. This is a great Sider-Man movie. It's awesome that we can get this AND the version from the MCU proper. I wouldn't say it's my favorite Spider-Man movie (that honor still goes to Spider-Man 2), but it gets the character right in ways that nothing else, so far, has. Seeing Miles Morales get his due is also a real treat. Especially if you have kids, go see it.

Grade: A+.
