Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Robert L — 01 Dec 2018

Animated films have really raised the bar over the last 5-10years or so. THe truth is LEGO Movie really raised the bar for animation/comedies. But here's the down-low on this film: It's not a 97%.

The animation is an A+, but it's an action/comedy, and it falls way short of the aforementioned LEGO Movie and films like Wreck It Ralph in the laughs department. It's a solid B+/A- and the average rating reflects that.
