Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Nilesh J — 18 Nov 2017
Spider-Man Homecoming is a phenomenal film that merges lightheartedness, fun and virtue together into a single plot. The protagonist Peter Parker values justice and prioritizes this ideal over highly gratifying circumstances albeit a highly anticipated date, popularity at school and winning a prestigious trivia competition.
At the end of the film, he declines Tony Starks offer to be a member of the distinguished Avengers. Through this, Spider-Man demonstrates humility and maturity. It is fascinating to note Vulture's, the protagonist, justification for his actions through social class distinction.
Spider-Man recognized that breaking the law is wrong regardless of sociopolitical class status.
