Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Andre T — 24 Dec 2017
Homecoming is a very energetic, fast pace movie. The story is really well presented with better humor. Especially toward the end of the movie but also because it does reflect a lot about being adolescent.
Peter is younger and surely wants to prove himself. The FX are spot on and I though the costume was more intricate. Some actions scenes were a bit fast, and I am not sure the plane scene was that good.
It felt like a flashy discotheque somehow. The acting is very good. I was surprise at how good the young actors were. Keaton is sublime. Downey does a fantastic job, and Holland is in control. I can't wait for the next one, hopefully we will have the same director.
I give it a 85%.
