Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Nik H — 03 Jan 2018

It's a near impossible task to look at this movie outside of the historical context of the character, whose story and schtick rival Superman and Batman for most widely known superhero sagas. That makes developing a fresh Spider-Man movie for kids and adults a gamble for any film studio.

This is except for Marvel Studios, who can't seem to lose, even when co-producing with Sony who has failed the project before. Big props to Jon Watts and Tom Holland.
