Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Anthony T — 06 May 2018
Change the history in the name of PC culture.... A reboot that could have been much better had they stuck to the original story and characters. A middle eastern flash? A mixed race different name Stacey gwen? A girl who goes by MJ without red hair.
... cringe. Don;t even get me started on the sexy Aunt may that finds out peter is spider-man after a few hours into the movie. a feat that in the comics took 400 issues and may's death to admit she knew.
political agenda abound in this one. Washington monument was built by slaves... seriously is Hollywood that tone deaf? gay kids in high school? once again Hollywood just cares about its bottom line. I'm glad I only rented this via red box for 2.
12 rather than give Disney my money. if you are looking for nostalgia it isn't here.
