Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Norse — 26 Jan 2018
Shame I didn't see this in the theaters. I had given up on Spider Man movies after the first two debacles, this one is a completely different take. Acting, writing, CG and score are top notch, but what makes this movie truly stand out is how all characters behave rationally - and we have a villain with an understandable motivation and a really surprising plot twist.
Gone are the hoaky clichés of the genre, this movie pulls no punches. It's amazing how Marvel continuously churns out truly great adaptions while DC falters badly with pretty much every step.
