Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Robbob99 — 06 Aug 2017
Tom Halland is excellent as Spider-Man as well as Michael Keaton as The Vulture, giving us one of the most memorable MCU villains to date. While I thought the movie was charming and fun, I never found myself truly invested in the movie until the third act started.
From that point on, I was in it until the end. But to me, this did feel like an MCU Spider-Man Movie. It never had that Raimi sense of urgency, especially in the action sequences. However, this is by far the best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2 and I would go to rank this as the third overall best Spider-Man to date.
