Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Anonymous User — 02 Jan 2018
Characters were needlessly black, brown, yellow-washed for no reason other than to virtue signal. SMH's ending shoots down everything the movie was building up for with peter's character progression.
Zendaya does a horrific job portraying the character of Mary Jane Watson or "Michelle" (blow me movie). The Spider-man suit is just the Iron Man suit which ruins peter's character as a whole, when he's always been a kid relying solely on his wits and intellect.
This just feels like a filler movie used to satisfy movie watchers needs in order to pan time for the next important film. Shocker is too under played and I hate how in every iteration of Spider-man, the villain figure's out who Peter is.
Wouldn't it have been better if there was a sense of dramatic irony? Whatever, this movie can die. (Ned was awesome).
