Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Fantasy F — 04 Aug 2017
(Spoilers).
I liked it. It was funny, heartfelt, and the specials effects were great. I loved the suit and seeing Iron Man's softer side was very nice. It looks like Tony's really warming up to Peter. However, it had some flaws. Peter and Ned were too open about the missions and talking about Spiderman. And the fact that the teachers were so oblivious they didn't see Peter keeping a glowing rock in the school is really unbelievably. MJ's reveal at he end was very cool though. Very smart. The villain, Vulture, was also very...relate-able actually. He was a family man just changing with the world...just not in the best way. All around, Marvel has done better (GotG, Avengers), but Spiderman: Homecoming is till very much worth watching.
