Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Jeffrey S — 29 Aug 2017
While Spider-Man does nothing wrong from a narrative or visual standpoint, it does nothing unique. Recycling the stereotypical Marvel formula feels dry, but mildly entertaining. The film takes no time to do anything interesting, instead sticking to what is safe.
The highlights is Tom Holland's performance, as he sells the character wholly and convincingly.
