Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Charles D — 22 Jul 2017

I watched this while assembling a boardgame storage thingy, so Idk if I would have been bored if I had to fully pay attention, but I will say that I really really loved what they did with the villain in this movie.

It's exceedingly rare that we get a villain that's an actual believable character, with relatable motivations and who isn't just pure evil for no good reason. The final scene in particular (spoiler warning) where the villain lies to protect peter after going to jail just sealed the deal for me, convincing me that this movie stands above the vast majority of other superhero movies.
