Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Silver Screen S — 19 Jul 2017
This movie does two things beautifully- crafting a Spider-Man movie that somehow finds a ton of fresh material even though it's the third reboot in a decade, and differentiating itself from the rest of the Marvel Universe through its titular character.
I also enjoyed a lot of the changes that were made- there aren't a ton of money problems constantly focused on (Tony could certainly help with that), he's not graduating in this film or the next, and the alteration of some of the characters from the source material (Ned, Flash, etc.
) were all great. Plus that post credits scene. Amazing.
