Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Jordan J — 16 Jul 2017
WANT TO SEE REVIEW: I can't wait for this movie. I have hope for it.
Wow! Spider-Man is back and better than ever. It isn't too dark like Andrew Garfield's and this movie knows how to have fun. This movie wasn't afraid to not be too serious. This movie just wasn't too dark and brooding. It was colorful and more family friendly. It really portrayed the colorful comic book character perfectly and brought him to life. This movie also has a really good plot. It was different. It doesn't go through the same stages as the last two reboots. It avoids Uncle Ben this time around because we all know what happened. This movie takes a new route and is different. That's one of the main good things about this movie. It's different and brings a new story to the table. I also liked the cast. Tom Holland is awesome as Spider-Man. He can be a good Peter Parker and a good Spider-Man at the same time. Tobey was a better Peter than he was Spider-Man, Andrew was a better Spider-Man than Peter Parker. But Tom Holland has just the amount of character for both roles. He can be nerdy and awesome at the same time. Michael Keaton was pretty good in this movie. I think was kind of a new vulture and was different from his comic book character a little bit. But like I said, this movie is being new and that's one of the great things about this movie. The Vulture wasn't all they changed though. The characters were different. The action scenes and special effects were really good too. I found this movie to be extremely entertaining. Plus the story also makes it entertaining. Overall I'd say this is the best Spider-Man movie. It's slightly better than Tobey's Spider-Man movies. So far this is my favorite movie of this summer. I can't wait for the sequels. A+.
