Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by A.d. O — 13 Jul 2017
The fact that it's 10x better than the previous Spiderman is more a testament to how awful that movie was more so than how good this one is. It was kind of sad to me to see Spiderman as little more than a kid in a suit this time though.
Also Michael Keaton is a very good actor, but he had nothing to work with here. One would think that the suits at Sony would have learned from the previous movies that the villain makes or breaks these types of movies, and this one has arguably the worst villain of any superhero movie EVER.
.. A guy with a gun? Really? I think I can take him, lol, still tons better than it's predecessor though *shiver*.
