Wow, this movie absolutely blew me away. After 5 spiderman movies already having been released this movie really had to do something it really had to give that extra effort for it to really feel fresh and new, and oh does it deliver.

This film really takes from the previous films and improves on all points from them. Going into this movie I was very worried that it would begin to explain the same old origin story that we've all already seen done twice beofre, but thankfully it knows we dont want the same old and skips the origin story and allows us to get straight into the life of peter parker / spiderman.

An issue that ive always had with raimis movies and the amazing spiderman trilogy is that I could never look at toby maguire or andrew garfield and believe them to be teenagers, but I really think Tom Holland was the absolute perfect choice for the roll of spidey / peter, he both looks and acts the way I can imagine peter park to and he really brings a sense of freshness and purity to the character.

He really does act like a kid in this movie as we have to watch him struggle with both romantic issues and hero issues. Its always clear to us that Peter throughout the entire film is really just trying to be the avenger that he isn't and the relationship between him and Tony stark feels real and genuine at all times and overall really do love the casting choice and I really feel that this is the best on screen peter parker that we've ever seen.

Another major highlight of this movie is the villian. The vulture was the easiest villian to relate to that I have seen in a spiderman movie before this, you could really understand get behind his motives just trying to help out his family but at the same time knowing why he must be stopped, I really do feel like this is easily the best spiderman villian next to Dr Octopus and the casting is just great for the character aswell.

Another major roll I liked in this movie was Tony Starks. You really felt the connection between him and peter as they begin to feel like a father-son type scenario but honestly I dont have a single issue with this film at all, it really does have those standout scenes and has some amazing action near the climax this movie really revived the character of spiderman for me.

Loved it.
