Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Josie C — 10 Jul 2017

Spider-man 3 (Tobey maguire) and the Amazing Spider-man installment was a disappointment to me. But now that Marvel has control back and its apart of the MCU im one happy lady. I was glad we skipped past the origin story and picked up with Peter Parker right after the civil war film.

the movie is humorous and lighthearted but still packs a punch with the cool action sequences and gives us a chance to grow with the character over the next couple of films. The overall theme of the movie is Peter trying to figure out who spider-man is in a world full of superheroes.

My only negative feelings towards the movie is some of the high school characters were annoying and not necessary as well as too many people knew his identity to quickly. other than that GO SEE THE MOVIE!!!!!
