Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Akash K — 23 Mar 2018
This movie was produced in 2017 and was directed by Jon Watts. Main characters in this movie include Spiderman, Iron Man, Captain America and Vulture. Awards this movie received were Teen choice award x3 and it received an award for movie of the year. My reviews on this movie vary. I thought it did have comedy on some parts but did seem like it went on for too long. I feel like some parts were too cheesy and too unrealistic. The horror that is in this movie though I find interesting because it is action mixed in with horror which is why I give this movie a 3 out of 5.
To quickly summarize this movie, young high school student Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt. He is under the eye of Tony Stark (Iron Man). Peter starts to embrace his power of spider-man and he also tries to return to his daily routine but also distracted by the thoughts of proving himself to be a little more than just the friendly neighborhood superhero.
To go along with my opinion, I think this movie is worth just the rent at a local red-box but not worth the price of a movie theater. There were many scenes in Spider-man Homecoming where he was in school a lot which made my rating go down for this movie, although he was a high school student they overplayed scenes of him in school. A scene that made me really enjoy this movie though was when he was making the webs for himself.
I would like you as a reader to go out and rent this movie and watch it at least one time to see that some of the facts I said about the movie are true.
