Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Stephen P — 06 Jul 2017

A fun, albeit irreverent, Spidey tale. Holland makes a great Spiderman, but the flick lacks the emotional depth and earnestness that the last two spiderman films captured so profoundly. At times it feels more like an Iron Man movie due to the fact that he talks to his suit which provides some basic, drab humor that almost lulls the center of the film until things pick back up in the third act.

Not without it's enjoyable moments, this is an easily forgettable adventure in the web slinger's canon.
