“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” went above and beyond! Everything was cranked up a notch from “Into the Spider-Verse.” The writing was compelling and hilarious, the animation was breathtaking (I can’t believe how much more of a spectacle this movie is compared to the first).
Top all of that with an ending that manages to be both amazing and infuriating at the same time and you have a recipe for a sequel that completely surpasses its predecessor.
