Review of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) by Mws2008 — 02 Jun 2023

The first spider-verse is movie is my most favorite movie of all time, so when the sequel was announced, my excitement was through the roof!!After having watched the movie, I can safely say the the sequel, Spider-man: Across the spider-verse didn't exceed the first one, but was definitely close.

Maybe that will change, but as of now, it's slightly below the first. The animation is the best of any animated movie every, which I think is almost a no-brainer. It truly is a work of art. While there weren't as many jokes, as it was taking itself more serious, when it was trying to be funny, it was hilarious.

I think what truly stuck out to me though, was the emotion. It was slower paced, yet it felt like it when by so quickly! You could really take in all the emotion. I might as well just stop here. Like the first, it feels disingenuous to describe this movie using words.
