Review of Spider-Man 3 (2007) by William F — 09 Nov 2013
This movie is not super bad but disappointing. It had plenty of action sequences and some good acting. However, it did had some flaws. For example it had too many characters. The film was much darker and had more brutal scenes.
The subplots were overused and excessive. It was not that very exciting as the other two and not that happy. I don't know what to say about the romantic scenes. There was probably too many misunderstandings.
Also Topher Grace was seriously not credible for the role as Edddie Brock Jr. What was Sam Raimi thinking? The film focused too much on Eddie Brock jr and Venom only had minimal screen time and was killed off too early.
WHAT a waste of a good villain. Some of the scenes were meant to be serious, but ended up as unintentionally funny. Finally the series was left on a cliffhanger that will never be solved. Like I said this movie is average and ok but it still ruined the series and was a big disappointment to fans of the series.
