Review of Spider-Man 3 (2007) by Campbell P — 25 Sep 2014

Going into Spider-Man 3 I looked forward to the action and great story like the first two but sadly I didn't get that at all. The third in the trilogy was a big disappointment. The story follows Peter Parker as he continues his journey as Spider-Man and at this point he thinks nothing can go wrong.

Well not so surprisingly everything goes wrong. This movie has way too many plot lines to stay focused on; there was the Peter Mary Jane relationship issues, the sandman, the backstory behind Uncle Ben (unnecessary), Harry and memory loss, Harry and dad loss, Eddie Brock and being the best photographer, Venom taking over, and Peter overcoming his dark side.

That's way too much! The worst part of all of this is the whole Peter being goth part. His whole being rebellious thing is so stupid, I thought I was watching a Spider-Man movie. After that the movie gets better by far.

The ending is what you see this movie for. It's action packed and its really fun to watch like a normal Spider-Man movie. There was so much unrelated drama in this movie that it was boring to watch.

Don't get me wrong some of this movie was actually good, there's just some stuff that's really hard to ignore. Peter being an a-hole was super irritating and really wasn't normal off track but I just was really bothered by that.

I really liked the last 30 minutes but other than that there's not too much you are missing. Spider-Man 3 had some good moments and some bad but I'm glad I saw it. C.
