Review of Spider-Man (2002) by Christopher Q — 01 Apr 2017

[The Second] Greatest Spidey Movie EVER! This very film served as the primary foundation of my early childhood. Some of my happiest and fondest memories involve this particular movie franchise. I've always enjoyed the classic origin story, especially when portrayed in any movie or show.

This film offered a very interesting, slightly different, and yet surprisingly fresh re-envisioning of Spider-Man's origin. In many regards, it held true to the comics, yet abandoned some of the more conventional aspects of the first Lee/Ditko comic, giving it it's own personal identity.

Overall, it was a great to see Spidey recreated and screened in the 21st Century. The movie was fun, exciting, realistic, and most of importantly, 100% Spider-Man!
