Review of Spider-Man (2002) by Charlie B — 17 Jan 2014

Ever since this movie came out, superhero movies just took off, so this movie obviously was inspiring. Not only inspiring but a lot of fun. It's also a little cheesy, in fact, it's very similar to the Superman film that came out in 1978.

This movie focuses on the origin of the Spider-Man for like the first half or so of it. However, Spider-Man's origin story is very easy to follow and is very relatable. It also focuses on the origin story of the Green Goblin as well as the relationship between Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson.

The result is a very fun, exciting, cheesy, but overall entertaining piece of cinema. I say, definitely see this film, and when you're done watching it, remember, "with great power, comes great responsibility.
