Sam Raimi's Spider-Man has excellent performance from Toby Maguire, great direction, amazing first half and thankfully a lot of heart at its core, but it unfortunately failed to become a classic thanks to so-so second half, some plot holes, lack of action and very dark annoying photography in the third act.
