Review of Spider-Man (2002) by Jonathan B — 30 Apr 2014
Spider-Man Review.
The Cast.
Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker / Spider-Man - while I think he was very miscasted as Spider-Man, he wasn't terrible he was just ok IMO.
William Dafoe as Norman Osborn / Green Goblin - this was a perfect casting choice Dafoe played the part perfectly only thing I hated was the costume of his.
Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson - TERRIBLE casting choice, she is not a good actress, I just hated how Mary Jane was the first love instead of Gwen Stacy.
James Franco as Harry Osborn - another great casting choice very likeable actor to play the best friend of Parker.
J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson - Probably my favorite casting choice in this movie Simmons just plays J. Jonah amazingly.
The Story.
The story was alright for a origin story the one big thing that bugs me that he didn't have the web shooters from the comics.
Overall: it is a likeable movie its always a good watch.
Overall Grade: C+.
