Review of Spider-Man (2002) by Dyron W — 16 May 2015
As with 1989's Batman, Spider-Man was a massive pop culture phenomenon upon its release in 2002. It was a big deal to see Marvel's most recognizable figure to leap and bound on its way to the big screen and filmgoers' anticipation was high.
In short, this is a charming and colorful feature that might seem dated along with the effects and lacks weight when it come to the writing, but the fun comic-book like atmosphere and Tobey Maguire earnest take on Peter Parker\Spider-Man still remains.
