Review of Spider-Man (2002) by Austin W — 26 May 2016

Considered one of the best comic book movies of all time, does it live up to the hype? kind of. I appreciate what it's done for the genre, I also think the Green Goblin is a very entertaining villain and an interesting one at that and Peter parker while a crybaby at times is a pretty good character.

But the action sequences were not as exciting as it's sequels or even the mediocre reboot although they showcased some impressive visual effects and action is what people see these types of films for but ultimately this what this film does right coupled with it's influence is much too powerful to not make this a good movie.
