Spider-Man 2 isn't just your average superohero film. It's much more than that. Spider-Man 2 takes everything that made the original film so great and expands upon it. The action sequences are even more exciting, thanks in part to the bigger budget and improved special effects.
The screenplay is fantastic and it manages to tell a personal Spider-Man story filled with heart and passion. Sam Raimi once again does an incredible job in staying true to the source material and humanizing the characters.
The cast once again do a fantastic job in their roles, especially Tobey Maguire and Alfred Molina. Spider-Man 2 is just as entertaining as it is heartfelf and it will always remain one of the greatest superhero films of all time.
