As a geek, along with many others, I thoroughly enjoyed the original Spiderman. Its script was good, had pretty great special effects (for 2002, I mean), and it showed originality for the Marvel universe. What is the sequel? Just that, as well. Spiderman 2 succeeds at all of the standards set by the classic. It comes off as just as good, if not better, than the first. Not many sequels are like that, but this one is also supported by its success in creating an even better villain: Dr. Octopus really is cool. Is this the greatest superhero film ever? No. Is it enjoyable? Very.
