Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Ben P — 19 Oct 2014
Inspired moments (such as the high school fight scene between Spidey and the Lizard) are few and far between. Webb and co. are so determined not to be Sam Raimi's Spider-Man that they lose sight of what they want to be, compromising story and character in the process.
The result: It's different, sure, but only because it's inferior. Skip it.
