Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Lewis S — 29 Oct 2015
A commonly underrated film that provides audiences with a worthy yet standard foe, well-made action scenes, but most of all, incredible chemistry between the main characters that distinguishes this film from other comic book movies.
Despite this, there are a large amount of plot points that have been seen before and the final action scene is fairly predictable. Overall, this film's story is a poor attempt at being different to comic book films before it, with its only originality coming from the cast Marc Webb managed to stumble across.
