Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Cb M — 07 Jan 2016
Garfield and Stone are as good as Maguire and Dunst, and the script's high school focus neatly assembles the film with a tighter story. But what was the point? Aptly-named director's Webb's version adds little we haven't already seen and fails to reach the soaring heroics Raimi's films did.
