Review of Spider-Man (1977) by Odysseus H — 21 Feb 2016
Fantastic!
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this film or not. I mean, this film is basically a reboot of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy of 2002, 2004, and 2007. Was it really necessary to start over? In my opinion, absolutely it was. Tobey Maguire did a capable job as Peter Parker, but this was the role that Andrew Garfield was born to play. He completely mesmerized me with his performance. And Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy? Wow! Talk about chemistry. These two actors were incredibly believable. I found myself enjoying their performances so much that by the time the movie ended, I was already planning in coming back with my kids! Can't wait for the sequel!
